2 year old Lennox unit - Had an error on the display indicating a pressure valve was stuck or non functional. SE (Service Experts) came and could not explain the error but cycled the breaker and the unit began to work.

They charged $93.00 for the call but did not do anything. In a month, the same alarm showed and they came out and thought it was the Printer Circuit boards, however, none were with the tech or in stock. The tech was unsure so he called for backup, another tech. The other tech thought it was the variable speed motor.

He had none in stock and it would take 2 days to get one. The outside temp for these 4 days without AC was 93 plus. The replacement motor finally arrived and with a cost of over $400 dollars. They wanted to charge me another $93.00 for coming back out, however, I call and complained to get that off the bill.

That is something I should not have had to do. SE carries no spare parts and seems to have no service plan for high risk parts that could fail.

This is a lack of vision and a lack of understanding the customer's requirements. SE appears not to be interested in keeping their customer base.

Review about: Service Experts Heat Pump Repair.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

I didn't like: Lak of parts to repair the system.
